Philosophy

I come from a high-crime environment where awareness wasn’t a skill — it was survival. You learned to read movement, timing, behaviour, and opportunity long before any formal training.

Later, I built on that foundation with civilian defensive education focused on understanding how criminals choose targets, how break-ins actually unfold, and how small decisions can prevent escalation.

When I moved into a quieter life, those instincts softened — until rising break-ins made one thing clear:

technology alone doesn’t give your family a real plan.

Most services sell cameras, apps, and subscriptions. But during a break-in, minutes pass inside your kitchen and hallway. In those minutes, you need clarity — where to move, what to say (and not say), and which changes buy you time.

That’s why I built True North Fortress.

I start at the curb, read approach lines and light, test first contact. I map weak points, specify fixes, and see the work through — quietly and cleanly. And I teach plain-language steps your family can remember under stress.

No fear theatre. No hard sell.

Just preparation that feels calm — and belongs in a beautiful home.

"I finally feel like we have a real plan. Besides only relying in cameras. Just practical information."
